Lumen, highlights a sense of beauty, pure shimmering light and aquatic spaces. Running 21 minutes in length
the ethereal music of Lumen was recorded in two parts with ambient pioneer Steve Roach making a guest
appearance and adding atmospheric guitar textures. Created at the end of 2001 in the bubble, Vir Unis
weaves a sense of self reflection, sanctuary, longing, and quiet contemplation. Fans of 'The Drift Inside' and
'Aeonian Glow'; as well as Vir Unis' contribution 'The Undivided Flow' to the much acclaimed 'Ambient Expanse'
will appreciate the territory explored here.

Moving this landmark work by James into the 21st century we are happy to announce it's
addition to our expanding catalog of downloadable works. Fully re-mastered and accompanied
by new artwork and liner notes.
In a slow moving, almost still ambience, Entering Twilight creates an atmosphere that surrounds
and unfolds for 66 minutes. This long form piece was created for continuous playback to enhance
the listeners environment with an amorphous, and at times almost transparent background of sonic imagery.
"What is achieved here is a fabulous sense of space and of floating, as though the listener is
moving freely through dusky clouds with no tactile objects in sight. The acoustic harmonics are

Work is almost complete on this much anticipated release. Allot of work has gone into this extensive collection
of tracks performed live by James Johnson and Vir Unis. Spanning the last 2 years of live performances including
tracks from their Philadelphia Gatherings and 5 hour Stars End performances from 2003. The discs will be packaged
in a unique box and be ready just in time for the holidays.

The Elf Machine - I/O

The elves are at it again....only this time Vir Unis has opted to become a permanent guest of The Elf Machine
bringing to the table a full pallet of stratospheric ambient washes, deep drones and fractal grooves.
Working in absolute seclusion, in an undisclosed location, with catering by Ed Pasley, the elves are concocting a
heavy dose of electronic groove alchemy and labroom atmospherics with catering supplied by Ed Pasley.
Heavily steeped in bleeps, bloops static and whirly sounds, the music exudes a rhythmic cocktail of world percussion
broken beat, and fracal grooves pulsating in a kaleidescope of cybernetic & robotic imagery.

Work is progressing on this large volume of environmental music from James. Featuring infinite playback
